Most products are permitted for trade in the Curaçao Free Economic Zones but are subject to your particular license. Curinde has a list of forbidden products. In addition, only wholesale is permitted.

No sales tax is applicable to products stored in the Free Economic Zones. 

Aside from tax incentives, the Free Economic Zone companies can be 100% foreign owned in a fenced, clean area with 24/7 security. The Free Economic Zones provide an overall favorable business environment based on your company's required needs.

A completely filled-in application form should be submitted to Curinde along with 2 bank and 2 commercial references. Curinde will exercise due diligence with respect to each application through international law enforcement agencies. We will assist you free of charge throughout the procedure.

The rental contract constitutes a one-year extendible agreement.

This is permitted; however, only wholesale purchasing is allowed. Visitors must present their passport at the entrance to receive a day pass which is free of charge.

No. Visitors are not allowed to bring the goods out of the Free Economic Zone. The goods will be delivered directly to the airport on the scheduled travel date of the visitor or it will be shipped to the visitor’s destination on a later date. Transportation can be coordinated with the company from which the visitor had purchased the goods. Purchasing an entire container for delivery is not necessary, Less Than Container Load (LCL) is permitted.
